Combos are my "bad" food.

Pretzel with cheddar cheese filling! mmmmmmm... mm.mm..mm..mmmm!!

I love them! And they SEEM so healthy! But every single time I eat one little paket of them, my BG goes over 400 (even with a very large does of short acting insulin!)

Example: For normal meals, I use about 8-12 units. And by meal, I mean meat, potatoes, vegetable DINNER.

For one little packet of combos, I have to inject 24 units- and still have to suffer feeling fatigued and do a 10 unit correction bolus after about 2 hours.

But, alas, I love them. Have them about once per year- and pay for it every single time!

I DO NOT BELIEVE IN HAVING FORBIDDEN FOOD. AT SOME POINT IN TIME THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING.

Great outlook JimBob!  haha.  I just know that if I eat Combos, I will "pay" for it later.  haha.  Inevitably, though, I usually end up grabbing the snack once per year anyway.

try them!  Yum Yum.

But they are a nightmare on  BG.  Takes triple my normal ratios to bring my BG down after a serving of those.  But... soooo worth it!

And I LOVE those square pretzels, and then putting a hershey kiss on top, and then one m&m and then baking for a minute or two... then putting in freezer for half hour to freeze.

Omg.  If there was a HEAVEN, that's what it'd taste like.
